>Can't even ask the government for help because since this is technically not my home (dad owns the contract), so they can't give me any extra aid to cover stuff so I don't end up on the streets like they did for my dad before he decided that sanity was for the weak and told them to bugger off.I'd suspected he'd been keeping something to himself for a while, so I did start to look for work and cheap apartments three months ago so I could "jump ship" if something where to happen. But this time of year there's hardly anyone hiring. All the no-specialist-education, no-experience, no driver's license/car required jobs have just been part time over the holidays (1-2 weeks), no proper full time employment.
Well, there's been a few pizzerias hiring staff but they don't hire white people. And the couple of waiting staff positions for actual dining establishments have all been looking for women.
