I have little phone data. Looking at the plans its 45 dollars for 2gb wow.  I think everyone passively uses more than that in a few hours.

I only got 1gb left to last me for a month. :(

It's the same for me, awful, awful data plans. I pay 25 dollars for 1gb (but it was 500mb just a few months ago)

I pay 35 for unlimited, but it's throttled but still usable after a gig

I get 3 GB of data till it's throttled. However...
T-mobile doesn't have any towers near my university and therefore I get 50 MB of data a month because it's domestic roaming then.

It's pretty hard to budget 50MB of data a month. There's wifi most places on campus, but in maybe 20% of those places it doesn't work because they're too many people on one network. And of course those are the important places like the cafeterias.
