I've seen elderly people in my classes.

To me after the age 22 everyone becomes too old for wasting time studying.

My Ex    spent 4 years studying in nuclear engineering / sciences and had to get a low paying engineering job instead. Like if you have lots of money sure go waste time, but I don't know if you're poor then its not a option.  I was sure Ming was not 'well off'.

The option to study was never available to me.   Can't even part time study since I'm full time x2 and just taking a few hours off one of them will mean going negative every week.

there's like 30 and 40 year olds in my course being offered to work in places like Google and Facebook

one of my friends is even working on the side as a freelance software developer and spend like 350 a week on food

There's a ton of people beginning their studies around 25 here too, for various reason ranging from neeting to working a "low" job before. It doesn't impede your career at all.

We had older people too when I was at uni.

Studying isn't for just for teens.

And how is it "wasting time" when

1) It's free (for a lot of us), minus living expenses
2) Enables a career

Well if its free that's all goods in the hood.  I was thinking more on the lines of not being able to afford the time because of not having money to support ones self. Like I'll never have time nor money to study.
