I got one of those Rock Band keytars that double as a MIDI controller, and a MIDI to USB adapter thing for a few bucks at the thrift shop. I spent a good hour making weird sounds in a DAW . Then I realized I'm terrible at keyboard.    :poh:

Got invited to celebrate Canadia day (the 1st) with the neighbors.

I don't mind these things for what they are, but I just don't like beer. Unfortunately, such beverages are culturally tied to celebration and would be hella awkward to decline normally. Really nice people with the best intentions though.

Ended up just drinking and watching fireworks with them anyways  :=T:

Cider is nice and sweet.

I've had a few beers I like. Generally small microbrews, but also Guiness and Heineken.

Throwing in with cider. Angry Orchard is my drink of choice.

I hate wine, though. I prefer rum.

I went to a friend house and we had a small barbecue. Then we headed to a rather big (big my country standard) festival in town. We didn't really enjoy the festival but ended up in an Irish bar with nice beer. It was nice.  :smile:

We also ate candy floss :relax:

Beer is clearly my favorite drink. Not any beer are good but if you look into Belgian ones you can find more than a few that are really good. English ones are nice too, but I don't know them well. I also like cider since it feels fresher and "lighter" than beer, it's a nice change of pace.

Wine is fine too, but I only drink it when I'm eating something. In order white, red and rosé. Some liquor are yummy but I don't like things that are too strong like whiskey, rum and the like.

I also like some specific cocktails. White Russian is currently my favorite, but if I need to show off my balls I go for a B52.

Belgian beer is abhorrent. They're lucky their waffles are so good.

While we're talking about mixed drinks, paralyzers are pretty good.
