there is still like so many things I don't know about basic song composition, the sort of stuff that I wouldn't even know what i'm missing to look for a tutorial, if that makes sense? Like I know so little that I don't know what i'm doing wrong?

But, on the other hand, i'm finally learning the interface.

I'd suggest finding basic theory stuff. Theory is super important in composition. You def won't need anything to advanced but you'll want to understand basic chords, keys, and how melodies work.

I spent 4 hours on this

It obviously falls apart near the end but I feel like some of the parts are at least more focused than my first songs?

By the last while of making it I was sleep deprived and couldn't think of anything so it's just terrible.

someone was talking about breakbeat so I "tried it" and then halfway through I found out about chords and "Tried it" and I'm not very happy with the final product compared to yesterday's but oh well
