I don't really understand what they were thinking with the paid mods. HMM people hate the concept of paid mods better remove it because of the Internet exploding about it. Wait what if we bring it back but instead of directly paying with real money. Let's make them buy points that pays for mods. This is 100% different from our last system. I'm sure the people will love it.

Thought they could get away with it by calling it something else and obfuscating the facts.

You can tell by how there is less fervor that is't actually working. Sure they are getting hate, but it's not nearly as bad as the original paid mod situation. I think this one is going to stay

you also have to think about the value of this system

console players have access to free mods on beth.net or whatever their mod distribution platform is

im not saying it wont stay, but what reason would they have to keep creation club if it doesnt bring in any money

both pc AND console players can get a better, more complete version of the hellfire armor off beth.net for FREE off their own distribution platform rather than paying 5 dollars for just the power suit, think about that for a second

this is terrible value, and unless they change the system, its not going to bring them any money

PS4 users, which are the majority of FO4 players, can't download mods that use custom assets, like the Hellfire armor, unless something changed from when they first launched mods for consoles.

Which makes paid mods as they are today, an attempt to make money from all those PS4 players who can't get all the cool stuff for free.

Because the creators club is all contract work and not "mods", so it doesn't have to follow the rules for mods on PS4.

Unless the offerings or value changes, you'd have to be pretty desperate to buy a set of power armor for 5 dollars

Yeah, they have three avenues:
stop eventually

keep doing it regardless downsides

or start going after modders for copyright and other 'violations'

well, I'd say they could offer better value and refund "points" people already spent on expensive mods that are cut down

the value just isn't there considering the current pricing

it works greatly if you just turn shadows down to medium, cant see shadows much anyway with that enb, now im getting 50+ fps everywhere
