Post something you like about an anime, and something you dislike.
I really like the pacing in Tekkaman Blade. It feels like every episode has pushed the plot or characters forward in some way.
And often an episode feels like a 'game changer'
Like how early on they only had to fight the Tekkamen one at a time.
But then later it becomes "fuck you here's four of them, good luck"

But I hate how no one in this show finishes anyone off.

Villains constantly do that thing where they're like "got shit to do, but I'll getcha next time!"
And the heroes do this as well. There's one episode where they get a surprise attack on the villain, and just leave instead of finishing him off for no reason.

I really like the characters in Kara no Kyoukai, especially Shiki.

I also like the atmosphere of the show and the music. The eyes are really nice too.

However the animation and/or the drawing are really bad sometimes, which really deserves the show. For example one time when have Shiki talking to someone and she's lying on her bed. The scene was meant to be cute be the feet were draw so bad that it instantly killed the atmosphere for me.

Sidonia has a really great world to it. When they go out into space for the first time you get a great sense of how isolated they are in that one ship. I like a lot of the details, like how they have to carry zip lines in case the gravity turns off.

I'm not really feeling that engaged with the characters though.
Most of them could die off and I wouldn't care. Except for Izana.

I like the ending song animations.
I have absolutely no idea how this is supposed to promote Urawa.

The Berserk films.

Like:

The ass ugly gratuitous CG Holy Shit this is supposed to be on a movie budget.

Holy shit that was an awful decision.
It's even worse in Arslan Senki where they make an army by literally just copy pasting the same soldier model.

They do get the hang of making the CGI look not-terrible in the third film though.

Traditional animation would of course be best, but I'm not hating what they managed by the end. I just hope they get funds for more eventually. They want to do all of Berserk, but apparently the movies didn't do so well in Japan.

However bare feet are badly drawn. Come on KyoAni you could've made an effort!

I like the odd detail/pacing shots they take at times (to the point I used some to make an AMV), and the girls can be kind of cute.

But I hate the general tone, plot, and pace of the show.
