In a uni town, you'll see a lot of places get gobbled up by students. If it's a nerdy or geeky uni (technology, sciences, digital media) then sure enough you'll have a pub full of nerds or two.

We had one when I was a student. And you bet people could play magic in there on occasion and no one would give a heck. This was a place people would get drunk and loudly talk about anime and video games.

I've never heard of these so called Uni towns.

My Uni, and basically every other one I've ever heard of, are all in Big Cities.

Complely "Geeky" unis also basically don't entirely exist here, since the tech schools are mostly used by trades kids learning welding, instrument tech, etc.

Sounds nice, though.

My mistake, you might be more familiar with the term college town.

We call them university cities.

If you don't know what a college town is, it's a small town where the school is the dominating feature. Students make up a large part of the population, so a lot of the business in town exists to cater to students exclusively, or has a partnership of one form or another with the school.
