Dear Pomo-chan,
NEET Alice,
You would not believe the week I've had.
I took her to the vet Friday very unsteady and dehydrated. They gave her subcutaneous fluids, did some basic blood work, and sent her home.
She refused dinner. Saturday, she was extremely weak and could barely climb into a low litter pan. We syringe fed her some food and left a dish of water near her in front of the fire. I wasn't sure she'd survive the night. This morning she surprised me by appearing in our upstairs bedroom and jumped onto the bed. She's eating and drinking and acting like she was never ill.
I think she was given many more than nine lives.
That's all. I hope everything's settled down with you. One of these days, you should come over to visit.
I'm not sure what we'll do, but I'm sure it'll be fun.
With love,
Alice
Looks like you and Joe will go hungry again, since the cat didn't kick the bucket.
Back to the old trashcans, as they say.
LOL
With love,
Pomo-chan
