What are you favorite twists in anime? What makes a good twist?
I personally loved all the twists in Samurai Flamenco, but I think the best one was when the final villian was the kid who was watching at the start.
I liked how they foreshadowed his obsession at the start. They had him stare in awe at Masayoshi until he's pulled away.

I also really liked the twist in Kaiji part 3 where his friends betray him.
Watching him beat the shit out of them is so fucking satisfying.
