Watching awkward or embarrassing scenes on TV or in movies is like hell itself, I have to pause it and compose myself, and maybe even skip the scene...

That I agree with, I never self-insert but everytime I watch something cringe it always hurt because I imagine myself doing it.

Not into everything but I tend to it a lot.

I do it when there is an embarrassing situation
When something bad/tragic happen to the MC
Sometime when something good happen to him
When I get caught in a show I dream about the show I'm watching and add a cool character helping the MC, the cool character being me
When a friend tells me a bad/embarrassing story that happened to him
When I see a cute couple
In nearly all the book I read, all the time
Probably in other situations...

When it begins I can't stop it. :sad:
