It might be possible, depending on how fat we're talking, and personality.

But I still voted Jesus No because my soul is terrible.

Someone being a bit overweight is one thing, life can get stressful and things can happen.  Someone who's a bit chubby can still be cute with the right attitude.  However someone who clearly let themselves go and doesn't care isn't cute at all.  It screams they don't care about themselves or those who they do or potentially would care about.  Getting fat is kind of interesting.  You can get to a certain point and not realize it, but there comes a point where you just know and you have to make a choice.  Speaking as someone who used to be fat, I dont think anyone can have the same loathing for obese people as a former fatty.  I mean holy shit you're just a blight to everyone around you, particularly when it gets so bad you have to fucking call 911 to have the fire department pick your fatass up because you're too obese and weak to lift yourself.  The only benefit anyone gains from being fat is if you stay active while fat and work it off you end up with tree-trunk thick muscular legs that can carry you up a mountain with ease and you have the ability to squat an elephant.

tl;dr - being fat is NOT cute.  Its a slovenly lifestyle that makes everyone around you think you're a gross person with no self control or discipline.

sorry if that got a bit heated :poh:

oh man, dont even get me started on that.  it should be grounds for child abuse.  I've worked in restaurants before and i cant describe the rage i felt when a child wanted to order milk or juice for a drink and the parent forced them to get soda, and sometimes DIET soda.  Also when they want like grilled chicken and broccoli or something and the parents order them a burger and fries.  They don't even realize the terrible things they're doing to their kids.

Hiro's "Can X be cute" threads are always full of people saying no and it makes me sad  :tears:
I think everyone can be cute! What matters is what's in their heart.

And no I'm not fat. My mom one took me to the psychologist because she thought I had anorexia.  :candy:

I think everyone can be cute and fat people aren't necessarily these disgusting sacks of slob you describe them as. Some bodybuilders are fat even if they have lots of muscle they look really fat. It's not laziness in some cases and I've met some fat people that were nice and loveable alot so please dont look at the outside a person's worth isn't determined by their looks and I love them very much.

I still wouldn't date a fatty, my heart may go to fat people as much as you want, but my penis doesn't love their kind as much  :badsmoke:

a lot of fat people are nice, it's because they have to make up for their tubtub bodies somehow or else no one would want anything to do with them.

ps being over muscled is just as gross as being overweight imo, bodybuilders make me wanna vomit

I find this statement about tubbies almost absolutely true. Although most fats are extrememly ugly on the inside they just hide it behind a fat jolly appearance. santa is the only good fat and he isnt real allegedly.
my uncle won a HUGE amount of trophies for body building so it doesnt really bother me too much unless they have really disproportionate muscles. If they look like johnny bravo it bothers me.

Update. At college today I seen a bowling ball on sticks running and its stomach and wo(?)man(?) breasts had molded into one ball shape and jumped all around as it "ran" to a building. I am mortified and need to lie down.

But some people are born ugly though.
Even so I think anyone could look presentable if they tried. Maybe not absolutely beautiful if genetics aren't in their favor, but presentable. An ugly person may have to try harder but stuff like just styling your hair, make up, exercising etc. can make a big difference. And if they don't care enough about themselves to even do that they must not care very much.

I understand that's kind of a blanket statement but I believe this applies to a lot of people.

WARNING INCOMING RANT:
we had to interview people and it went fine; HOWEVER! When I had to be interviewed this FAT UGH GROSS NO PLEASE GO came up to me and picked me by poking me in the arm. I had no say in the matter and had to suffer her GROTESQUE hand TOUCHING MINE. I could not wash my hand till after class I am disgusted i wont even describe her handshake. I did not know at the time but her interview was to ascertain personal information in relation to stealing identity. She asked me about school and my friends and was smug about it the entire time. When I told her the I do play video games she lit up and asked me about World of Warcraft, much to her dismay I had to let her know I never played it. I must have looked absolutely disgusted but she kept on questioning me about video games like League of Legends and she would NOT stop talking about W.o.W or L.O.L; it was really annoying. Then at the end SHE TELLS ME WHAT SHE HAD TO FIND OUT, EVEN THOUGH THE TEACHER SAID EXPLICITLY NOT TO. LITERALLY WHAT.
I'm done.

Off topic, I hate handshakes.

Touching other people without spending some time to mentally prepare for it makes me feel sick, body and soul.

It...was....something scary. I've been raised to shake hands like a REAL BOY so I squeezed lightly to establish dominance out of habit. I should have been more focused, because her hand was squishy like a stress ball but it was FUCKING WET. The moment she looked away I wiped my hand repeatedly on someone's backpack. It was wet and squishy it was like squeezing raw ground beef. She could barely close her hand yet the WET got all over my palm it was disgusting. I am mortified still. I kept a pretty good poker face though.  :plz:

Title: Re: can fat people be cute

why do handshakes seem to be a lost art now?  shaking hands with so many people is akin to then trying to make you grab on to a dead fish.  MEN need strong, firm handshakes.  women can get away with delicate ones, but theres a special angle for that and most just reach out and hold it there.  its the  worst  :sad2:

iirc japan has extra taxes or healthcare fees for fatpeople and jobs can actually fire you for being fat because its costs them more in insurance coverage.  i wish that was a worldwide trend.
