I know some high-tier audio software like Pro Tools require usb authenticators to run / install.

But I'm sure there's cracks for that. There is always a crack.

You know you can pirate software right

Anything requiring a keygen is a hotbed for viruses and many programs require log in data with their sites.

But, the primary issue here is Ive just been to lazy

That's... probably more likely

Almost any popular software can be found online for free with a little bit of digging
Also there's some lower level alternatives which you can get for free legally

Even though I have to go to government mandated courses of hebrew, I'm actually a NEET in the evenings, at night and on friday and saturday. One day I had to stay home for four day consecutively, I'm such a NEET! From the 8th to the 18th there'll be no courses, so I'm a NEET there, and if I stay home, I'm a hikki!

Yom Kippur is practically a total NEET day, in your home you can do anything you want, but if you're out on the streets you're going to get bullied for drinking, eating, using a telephone and if you drive a car, the fundamentalists are going to throw stones at you until it breaks. It's like they're saying "NEET OR DIE".

Army is NEETdom because it's not education, employement or training. Thus the alternative service (where I have to work in hospitals, kids' schools or some other socially helpful things) counts as NEETing it up.

Does joining a kibbutz(commune) count as being a NEET? I don't like being unable to get rich (everythings' shared), but it's almost like Socialist Sweden!

I like being a NEET like you guys, those neurotypical wage slaves will never understand how good we have it.

>I'm NEET for the duration of when I'm not working

I dunno mate!

That's the joke, dumbo.
But tehnically, considering the shakey definition of NEET it could be true that everyone who's not working is a NEET.

I'm a NEET and I'm okay.

I stay up all night and I sleep all day.

I pirate games. I eat no lunch.

I go to the lavatory.

On Wednesdays I go shoppin'

And have economy priced rice for tea.

I was a NEET once.
Good times, but money is nice too.

Also, as bad as I feel about myself as a person most days, it feels nice that I didn't drop out of high school before turning 16, which puts me ahead of a few people in this thread, and even my own father.

I would gladly reenter the workforce I just haven't been able to get a job for awhile.  I want to buy stuff again.

This is fine. I'm not against welfare, it's just supposed to get you back on your feet until you got a job, not for living off of. But this thread isn't for me so I'll stop shitting on your guys's parade.
Title: Re: NEET thread
Post by: bubblecat on March 03, 2015, 02:03:05 AM
People who complain about welfare are ultimately just jealous and are trying to justify wasting their lives working by clinging onto morals.

I don't even get welfare, but I want to just to spite them and make them pay for a high quality collection of onaholes while they grumble about it.  :ok2:

I've been wondering:How does your life go so off the rails that you drop out of HS before turning 16?
Title: Re: NEET thread
Post by: bubblecat on March 12, 2015, 03:24:37 PM
You get sick of being around people and stop going, pretty easy.

Had to go to court a lot because it's illegal to drop before 16 here, but I turned 16 before the case finished and was let go. It was worth the trouble.

Been a much happier person since dropping and secluding myself.

You make it sound so simple.

I didn't want to be around people or go to school either, but my parents would have basically disowned me.

How did yours react?

My mom tried everything she could and I give her credit for it. I was forced to see a councilor who works with bad kids in juvenile detention for almost 2 years, but even he eventually gave up on me because I refused to open up to him and anything he said had no affect on my actions.

Then I was kicked out and moved to my dads, then after a year there I was kicked out and moved to my grandfathers, who doesn't care because he never even notices I'm there. At this point it's been almost 10 years and they all accept that this is just the way I am and don't push me anymore.

What will you do when you reach 40 ? What will you do if, when you reach this age, you realize you're not happy and want to find a job ? What if you change your mind about having a gf and have to look decent to find one ?

I couldn't cope with those feeling.  :plz:

Working is fine, I think, as long as you work part time and the tasks are simple.

The real jam would be finding a way to get paid to do what you love.

(I'm still trying to figure out what I love  )
Title: Re: NEET thread
Post by: Kami_sama on April 07, 2015, 05:56:51 PM
Working at 80% would be the dream. :sparkle:

I don't have a hobby or a passion I can sink lots of time into. Even when I work hard all the day at my uni, I still end up wasting too much time on pointless thing on my computer. On vacation I spend most of my time wandering in my home without any real goal. I'd just die of boredom if I lived like that for more than 3-4 months I think.

At least if you work hard you can climb the corporate ladder and then look down on the scrubs below you.

Maybe I'm just lucky to sort of like what my future job will be about. :poh:
Title: Re: NEET thread
Post by: bubblecat on April 07, 2015, 05:59:44 PM
As a NEET you can look down at the entirety of the working class scrubs which is much more gratifying.

Still do not understand people who get bored in the year 2015.

Yeah but you won't have as much power as an executive. Plus you get to bully your subordinates. :yay:

Still do not understand people who get bored in the year 2015.
Because of inability to set goal and/or accomplish thing if not pressured by a hard deadline and/or the fact you're fired if you don't do it.

Some people want responsibilities. You can't get huge responsibilities if you're a NEET.

Not having a huge interest in things.

Title: Re: NEET thread
Post by: Kami_sama on April 07, 2015, 06:34:57 PM
Everything in life except breathing, eating and drinking is an arbitrary goal. You can maybe add  reproduction to the list.

This pressure give you motivation to do something, that's the important point. If I feel I haven't accomplished something in a while I become depressed.

Work doesn't make you (always) do what you want but at least it makes you do something.

Also if we look at it from a higher point of view if no one worked we'd be in the shit.

If I feel I haven't accomplished something in a while I become depressed.
This is the part I don't get. So many people place all their happiness on the things they accomplish which seems like a horrible and sad way to live your life, and it would be much more enjoyable if you didn't. But I guess that's not something you can just change about yourself so ganbatte in your working life.

i want to go back to 'work' this tuesday at the latest. i've been procrastinating away from free money for too long waiting on getting my new medication but the fucking state is like 2 months behind processing applications for medical aid so my original plan of waiting to get on meds before re-forming my good habits isn't going to work

That's exactly right, on the net, a NEET is an existance beyond us mere humans

With vastly more time to pursue their interests, they can cultivate tastes and knowledge far beyond any mere mortal

Let's not even talk about net games, where they rule all with their unlimited grind and farm prowess, turning them into divine beings that move the world!

Hey NEET thread! NEET reporting in, haven't worked a single day of my life. Feels good to be worthless to society :heh:

My NEET in arms!

I became a NEET a couple of weeks ago

It took me like 2 days to resume going to sleep in the morning and waking up past noon

I just wish I decided to do something more productive than watch anime and play Skyrim

The weather has been cold these last couple of days here but it's been quite warm besides that. I dread the coming of summer, it gets way too hot. Even with the window open and the fan running at maximum, I'm permanently soaked and feeling generally dead for the whole of it
Title: Re: NEET thread

May I welcome you back to the fold, then~ May your stay in the NEETzone be as easy as can be
What happened for you to become a NEET? Can't blame you for flipping your sleep schedule so fast, nights are the best~  Everything's so calm and cool, it's wonderful. Nobody bothering you~
You can do productive things as a NEET! What kind of things do you like to do? Whatever it is, you've got all the time in the world for it. Hence why NEETdom is so great!
I like to draw every so often but can't really motivate myself to keep to any schedule of practicing  :sweatdrop: I guess it just can't be helped, ahaha...
Summer really gets too hot! I go out of the house to pretend that I'm looking for a job sometimes, and doing so a couple months from now is going to be really annoying... Even if I spend the time at a nearby cafe I'm going to get drenched on the way there and back. Don't really like wearing very little clothing outdoors, either.
I'd much rather sit in my room with my feet in a tub of water than go anywhere, alas. Can't be helped either!

My 1 year job contract came to an end, so nothing unexpected / bad happened

Pretending to be looking for work sounds rough, I hope your parents or whatever aren't hassling you too much!

I agree with you, summer is the worst. It's hot and sticky and unpleasant. The sun is loud and obnoxious.
I don't like wearing little clothing either, it's self conscious.
I wish I was neet sometimes, but then my life would be even more worthless than it already is.
Rage on neet friends, make the system bend to your will.

Ah, glad to hear everything went as planned then~
I'm sure you can do it if you put your heart to it! You can do a lot with just paint and a mouse, and even more if you've managed to acquired better software somehow! Just get rolling and you'll be drawing cute girls before anyone can say wow Ming sure draws cute girls! :sparkle:
Practice, practice, practice~
Pretending to be looking for a job isn't too terrible... I only have to do it a couple times a week, and they don't bother me on weekends, so it's a bit like being an EET without the actual EETing. I suppose it keeps me from becoming a hikki, heh...

I take it you're a NEET by choice then, Scarlet? Can you just not be fucked to work, or is there a greater reason?

Mhm! There's nothing stopping me from work ideologically speaking, but why bother if you can just leech until it's time to take a trip to Gensokyo? It's like wage slavery without the wages or the slavery!  :yay:

Heya NEETos~ Another great day to do nothing at all! Am I using this place too much like a blog? API isn't my personal blog after all, I'm not sure if I'm crossing any lines ^^;
Today I already learned this soundcloud embed thing doesn't seem to work too well... But then it hardly ever works anywhere, anymore! If at all. Soundcloud got really rude with its copyright stuff, how come you can't embed things now?
Anyway, the link in my signature leads to https://soundcloud.com/the-death-of-comedy/computer . Short and cozy~

I take it you're a NEET by choice then, Scarlet? Can you just not be fucked to work, or is there a greater reason?

Money isn't the most important thing in the world, you know!
The lack of it makes a person really sad, but once you have enough of it to support yourself anything extra is... just that. Extra!
But then, I admit that there are people not as lucky as I am in being able to leech shamelessly.
Some people even find their purpose in their work. That's completely fine, and I wish them the best, but what if they end up without a job..? Kinda worried even though I shouldn't be, such people are generally well adjusted...
Well, anyways! I hope you can find a stable source of income that doesn't require you to do anything. That's like NEETing, except socially approved of! Waai~ :sing:

It's time to get all dressed up and pretend that I'm looking for a serious job for serious people. Thankfully my phone's got a decent data plan so I can cutepost from whereever! So what I'm going to do is to tie my hair up in a ponytail which'll switch to twintails as soon as I'm out of the visual range of the house. What can go wrong~

heck yeah bro, work from home is super comfy  :sparkle:
I get up 30 minutes before I start working most days and only need to go to the office 1-2 times a week

actually more productive this way too, it's win-win  :relax:
