There is nothing shameful in playing a well-rounded character who teaches you about every aspect of the game
When I started I played on my xbox360 controller but the d-pad is just too awful so I dropped it to play with my keyboard. It's pretty nice honestly, probably plays like a hit-box, but with smaller buttons.
If I end up liking the game I'll probably build my own stick since it looks pretty easy but until then I'll stick with the mechanical keyboard I think.
