Currently considering a gtx 1060 (6gb), an i5 3,8ghz, and going for 16gb ram @ 3200mhz

And a SSD big enough for at least a few games

just use the hdd for games and ssd for work applications and boot drive

I know SSD's don't really do anything for most games. Just a few seconds off the loading times.

But for some games (mainly open world) it's ridiculous.

Check this out, skip to 0:35 for Battlefield 3, and laugh:

Also, Fallout 4 (9:20) is... insane. 


Anyway I placed my order. So excited!

It's just 90% uncompressed audio files and crap

They're that size for no other reason than to fuck with people

I think SSDs are worth it but if its penny pinching other things to include it then maybe get it later on down the track.

I've never filled up my ssd that I use for games.  Well I kinda only have like 5 games tops installed with Guild Wars 2 being the largest at 28gb.

my point still stands unless youve got no software youll need to work with

if its like 250 gb youll be able to put what like 3 or 4 games on it where it will make the most difference
