Well, as I said, I just started using the fate system which can work with any sort of setting. Plus it would yield itself well to online role playing since it uses a simple positive/negative roll system for everything.

And what sort of setting and tone would people like?
Personally, I think that a Super Sentai type thing would make for a great RP.

The problem is we never seem to find someone who actually wants to GM/DM.

Also timezones, but I guess that's not much of an issue now that it's summer.

We can either use skype or equivalent or play by forum post. Playing by forum post takes more time but you can make "prettier" roleplay since you have more time to write the post.

I think it's also generally more convenient, since you don't have to worry about time zones or anything.

Ye fate is easy. It's just the positive/negative roll system and then fate points which you can gain by basically rping your character well and use them to use like certain skills or to declare something in the story. It's interesting and versatile for any setting and theme.

I'm down with the sentai as well.
