Britain was never going to be able to influence it's growth in the way it wants.

The only EU member capable of doing that are the Germans

I'm not saying the EU has no advantages, but I PERSONALLY thing that the negatives outweigh them.

I just think most people who are crying doom and gloom over this are massively overexaggerating the good sides of the EU. Britain isn't suddenly going to be a 3rd world backwater in 20 years (Or any more than it already is  )

MAYBE some smaller countries that are now calling for referendums won't be as well off afterwards, like the Netherlands, but for the UK they'll be fine, at worst.

You know what's funny? People are acting like the GBP is completely worthless but I heard it's around the same price as the Australian Dollar.

The 'point' of Libertarianism is to limit the government only to tasks that a government-less society can't do as well - National Security, Roads, Police and Fire Fighting, etc.
