>without a degree and 5 years experience

I've technically done web design and development since 2006-2007 there about, that's a decade of experience even if it's just as an on and off hobby

Degrees are a not hard requirements as a code monkey, regardless of what the ads say. A huge chunk of the industry is self taught.

Yeah. Most firms here don't consider self work to be experience. (Unless you can show them a finished product like a game or a website).

Waves upon waves of overqualified applicants is pretty much the norm in NA outside of, like, unskilled labor.

I've heard Newfoundland is looking for tech people, which could be a good way to get experience, but it's Newfoundland. It's a step above working on an ice station.

Plus I wanna at least try to finish my degree first.

I'm through to the final step before an internship with IBM, the technical interview!

It's not that important / they've pretty much made up their minds from what I hear. So yay, go me!

oof.  :owo:

that aint a bad thing

not because you have something to blame shit on

a lot of people who have it and know they have it end up living better lives afterwards

of course it would be easier living without it but even without medication understanding the effects can change how you do things

i dont know if i have it or whatever since ive never been seen but this video makes a lot of sense to the people who do

Getting drugs for ADD has improved my life immesurably.

Well, measurably. I've lost 40 pounds, started walking way more often, started learning japanese instead of "learning Japanese" and been able to pursue my hobbies way more, instead of spending 80% of the day watching youtube.

now I just need to pin down that autism diagnosis and get free money.

What's the difference between "これ” and ”この”? and the other that and this and such re vs no?

like I know there is a difference but this genki thing i'm using isn't really explaining it well and I don't understand the distinction...

also isn't ”あの” the same as like, one of the japanese ways to say "Um", or am I misremembering?
