I opened 16 packages today. Some big, some small.

Don't have any space to display all the merch I've bought, so for a long time (over a year) I had been slowly filling my room with the unopened packages instead... :owh:

If I was one of those YouTubers I would've filmed it. It was nuts.

All the boxes of the actual products are still taking up a bunch of room, so I need to open all of that as well I figure to free up even more space (mostly just to make it easier to clean, moving everything in and out to vacuum has been a massive pain before, now it would be 10 times as bad).

Might take some pictures of that.

Maybe I'm just cheap but looking back at all the damn figures and shit I've bought over the years but damn it feels like the biggest waste of money I've spend and regret most of it now. I always found it funny how I couldn't justify spending 200 and getting more Ram for my pc or something but I'll buy 400 RAH on a whim.

I mostly regret buying all this shit because I'll be moving to Australia most likely next year and have shelves of figures to dump. Plus a pallet load of gunpla.  Oof

I feel like I could use my money better sometimes. Once I find the time, I'm going to start some investing. Get a small stock portfolio going.

A lot has happened since i posted last. Most recently, my dumbass managed to drain my transmission while trying to do an oil change.  Turns out the ATF was burnt and causing it to struggle to shift some times. Replacing the old fluid got it shifting nicely now. Do that turned out for the best i guess. Getting ATF at the dealership was expensive, I nearly doubled what I had budgeted for the oil change supplies.
I also adopted a cat. I'm not entirely sure on the gender. At the shelter they said it was male, all the paperwork also states it's a neutered male. But when I went to the same vet where it got fixed, they kept referring the cat as a female. They said they remember spaying the cat. To make things more confusing, I looked up the name the shelter gave the cat and it's a female name. Bintu. I thought it was a silly name so I've been calling it Arin.
In other news, I've been diagnosed as being "moderately to severely depressed" and have started a medication for it.  All I can say is holy shit, I should've started years ago.
This has been my 2019 update, I'll be back 2020.

Damn.

I spent my entire Christmas break resenting my parents and stressing over my grades. Then when I worked up the courage to check them (after new years) I did a lot better than I thought, so, there's that. I'm feeling pretty frustrated that I felt too burnt out through it to get anything I've been meaning to tackle done, and now the term has basically started and it's too late.

2018 was a busy working year for me. It coasted along pretty fast as I only really worked for the most part.  Having a holiday over the xmas new years break and visiting my mother and little nephew Alistair was my highlight.  I'm always focused and my mind is always on work that this first real handle brake on holiday helped me a lot.  I love my nephew so much and helping my mum care for him has been so great.  The happiness I have when looking after my 3 month nephew strikes a pain that I wish I had my own son or daughter.

This year I need to focus less on work and exhausting my self and more about my family and me.  I hope I can find another partner this year as it sure does get lonely now.
