I found the Alice (bottom picture) and Sakuya (middle picture) ones on eBay and am considering getting them

I'd like others too but, I'm not made of money anymore. Got my last full time paycheck and it's all part time earnings from here on out :sad:

The question is what to study

Currently I want to study ancient religion, or ancient history

But I'd probably have a waaay more secure future if I studied web and phone app programming

I'll probably apply for it all and see what happens, I only have my job up until march next year anyway so I need to find something new one way or another, and studying would be the smart thing to do

I like the system we have here. You only have to pay off your loan once you're above a certain income threshold.

We have that too. (Degree is free as Kami said, but you still need somewhere to live, food to eat, buy books, etc)

Just move to America and make double the money.
Living with your parents is nice, because food and housing are paid for.

Free is a little bit exaggerating yes. I pay 633.- CHF per semester for my school, and it's a good school, so I consider it free especially when concurrent school in America are way more expensive. Government finance it because he's able to pay him back via the taxes when we start working. I think I'm an investment that will pay off in 10-20 years iirc.

Also a lot of places make deal with rich people where they have to pay less money that the normal rate of taxes require, but still a good amount. So they have an incentive to stay.

Also Switzerland has no choices but to have specialized job and industry that require a high amount of graduate otherwise our economy will plummet because we have no natural resources and tourism can only bring in this much money.

Also financing school doesn't cost that much IMO. What take most of government money by a huge amount is welfare (handicapped and old people)

It's one of the most beautiful countries on Earth, and crime rates are very low. Then there's the more intangible things like kinship and culture because Scandinavians are very different from other people when you get away from the big cities where everyone tries to be as American as possible. These things will not last in the trashy multiculturalist capitalist high technology future so this is the last chance to live it too.
