Are there any issues with installing UESP with active save files or other mods?

I don't think so, but to be safe i'd say probably go with a new save

I've decided on what I want to play!

At first I was thinking about unarmed khajit (...Are there any mods to replace the females with cat girls? There needs to be), but then I remembered something. BOUND. WEAPONS.

I've never taken these seriously before despite really speaking to me thematically, because y'know, can't improve them with smithing, nor can you enchant them which is a super serious drawback. But I found a mod that makes them scale with conjuration, giving them equal extra damage to what smithing would give of equal level.

And a some minor abilities (4% of current mana as bonus damage and some mana drain I believe). So that kiiind of redeems them. A little bit. It's no drain health + stamina though.

So this Friday I'll be doing a fresh install and spending most of my evening tightening up the graphics a little bit, then adding some essential mods, and then my dual wielding, sword summoning, undead loving, heavy armour wearing muscular body mod lady Orc is a go

I found a decent child mod for doing a loli witch character, but I can't help myself

I was going to say that orc maybe isn't a good choice for a magic user, then I remembered that it's Skyrim, and races have no weaknesses.

Still, I'd probably have gone for a Breton.

PS: Gay.

its gamebyro theres no such thing as a challenge

the magic system in skyrim allowed me to be a cleric without it being annoying to play.  i had self healing left hand and a mace in the right.  it was really effective and id just dumpster through zones.  i was also a hot empire dyke

You caaaaaan mod Skyrim to have deeper, more challenging combat. But I for one, don't care much about it. Might get a better enemy A.I mod though.

I've played tons of Bretons already, Skyrim and Oblivion both. And, my last character was a two hander Nord even.

It's time for something new.

And let me tell you.

The future, is green, and menacing.

I remember hearing someone talk about a website where turbo nerds picked apart every bit of Skyrims writing
Anyone know the site? Googling "why Skyrims writing is bad" gives me nothing.
