What are some dumb cliches you adore? I fucking love it when they say, "We have to use...that" Shit gets hype when that happens.

I love it when the hero remains cocky and such even when he's getting his ass kicked.
I also love badass, stoic dudes.
Like Kenshiro.
On the other hand, I also love heroes who only get by on mostly luck, like (these examples are not anime) Indiana Jones and most of Jackie Chan's roles.

Luck based heroes are great. It always feels like they're more vulnerable. And when they get out of it you're like "BULLSHIT, THAT WAS AWESOME"
It reminds me of another cliche I love. I love it when the villain thinks he has the hero cornered. And then the heroes like "if you spare me now, I'll forgive you" And the villians like, "NO WAY YOU'RE FUCKED" But then the hero is like, "JOKES ON YOU, YOU FELL RIGHT INTO MY TRAP"
