thats just its model name.  a subcompany of beretta called Uberti makes them.  Mine is probably like 8years old tops.  Great gun though, its essentially a clone of the colt peacemaker and i have 2 cylinders for it, one chambered in .45LC and the other in .45ACP.  The few old guns i have/have had shot fine though.  I dont really collect weapons unless they're usable.

I still live with my parents, and mum doesn't want a gun in the house.
Fair enough. If I had a son I wouldn't trust him with a gun.
I'm not sure what the laws are either.

haha i did the guns in my parents house without them knowing about it.  long story short it didnt end well, but it got better and now my mom as actually happy i have some.  You'll have your time though, its a fun hobby but expensive as hell.

really @Ky ?  ive seen quite a few videos of people target shooting in their backyard in NZ...  then shitstraliya's laws probably leak over...

gun stores are interesting places, each one has its own vibe, some are shit and others are great.  always worth going in to take a peek at whats available though.
