summer is winter and vice versa on respective opposite sides of the equator

not sure how it affects semesters below the equator but I would prefer having the longer holidays in the winter months for the longer nights and darkness

Yeah. It's around Christmas we get a longer vacation.
I wish we had long winter vacation instead though.
Fuck summer, my mum makes me go and take my siblings outside and stuff.
