My teacher sugested lots of writing and bugging any japanese person you met. I'm just going to cram the core 2000 anki deck for a while, then join some japaneses pen pal website. At least untill I can move back to LA, then I'll try to talk to some japanese people and fail because I'm too awkward to talk to strangers. :tears:

facial expression when been watching anime for about 4 years and now I can watch my unsubbed little girl cartoons with no problem  :dance:
I'll learn to read later, I'm not in a hurry  :sick:
it might be useful to learn the language first before starting to memorize a thousand symbols that I can't even use yet!
