  i'm making a BBS software, similar to Kareha, Shiichan, and Tablecat BBS

  it's called "iyagi" and it's written in python3 !!!

  compared with other textboards, it's fairly mobile friendly.

  one day it'll have many cool features

On an actual note, I am / was / will be working on a new message board software too. Was kinda planning a Christmas release but then I had eye surgery and couldn't stare at code for very long, hoping to resume work on my 11 day break starting on the 31st

It's just in simple html, css and php + sql

And I've not much of an idea what I'm doing, biggest achievement would be writing a (injection safe) bbcode parser from the ground up for text formatting and embedding video (youtube links, and webm files).

So if you need any help with that stuff, I might have something to pitch in with

bbcode should just be a manner of easy regex.

I'd never touched regex in my life until I decided I wanted to make bbcodes for this project. Didn't even know what it was

 

In fact I knew next to nothing about server side work when I started this project. But I've learned, bit by bit.

There's nothing really worth posting screens of. I did make a simple layout with css + html and a random background image ages ago though when the idea of making my own message board first popped into my head.
