The sketches on the bottom are pretty expressive, so if it's like that in the show I might be OK with it.

Still, I'll miss his old "I'm tired of all this shit" look.

I read the first volume of the manga.

It was not very good.

We have a commercial. I think it looks okay in motion

I read the first volume of the manga.

I keep hearing this. What was wrong with it?

Lazy writing. Not much happens. Asakura and Tsusuya are mostly the same, I guess, but I was never a huge fan of them. Yuki's supposed to be slowly getting more confident, I guess, but this doesn't really come across all that well, and she spends most of the volume doing kinda random stuff. Kyon suffers the most, his personality has practically melted away.

She was barely in volume 1, for the record.

I don't think Mikuru and Koizumi showed up.

I watched five minutes of the first episode.
It was so fucking boring I dropped it.
None of them feel like the same characters.
They all feel so cookie cutter.
Kyons just a light novel protagonist now.

God is dead, and Statelight killed her.
Realistically, what are the chances of us getting more haruhi after this inevitably sells 10k BDs

I think what's really sad here is that the guy behind Nichijou was demoted for it  :tears:
