Lazy writing. Not much happens. Asakura and Tsusuya are mostly the same, I guess, but I was never a huge fan of them. Yuki's supposed to be slowly getting more confident, I guess, but this doesn't really come across all that well, and she spends most of the volume doing kinda random stuff. Kyon suffers the most, his personality has practically melted away.

I watched five minutes of the first episode. It was so fucking boring I dropped it. None of them feel like the same characters. They all feel so cookie cutter. Kyons just a light novel protagonist now.
