It'd sound like you're talking out of your ass. Try mentioning specific accomplishments. ie: I increased efficiency by x% by doing y. Or I shortened turn around time to x admit of time by doing y. By doing x, we noticed an increase in customer satisfaction.

I know what you mean about I did X and Y which increased Z etc but its hard to tell anyone that unless I get to interview phase which has never happens.

I don't talk about stuff like that in my CV / resume mostly just displaying skill sets. If they follow up any of my contactsbon my CV then they will find out tons of the good stuff. Of course if I got to a stage of talking to humans it would be easier.

Its kinda like my skills related to being a computer tech. I wouldn't have a self employed job as one if I didn't have the experience in every area of computers yet with no paper work under my belt I just get flicked off as some fag who build his PC and wants a job as a computer tech.

It will be okay I turn into superman when everything gets down to the wire. I ain't going back to being unemployed and soon to be homeless.

Actually, I was just hearing in a lecture that it's good to include that sort of shit in a resume.

Anything over one page is too bothersome to bother to read so it's quicker to just throw it in the trash and move onto the next one.  At least that's what I tend to do.

But these days everything is scanned for keywords and filtered before a human even looks at anything.

Just use a single list and print on both sides.

Wow. You're the cancer of modern hiring practices.

I hope you stay unemployed forever now.

I've got an orientation today, kinda unnecessarily nervous. But after this, it's pretty much the weekend for me.

Welp, it's definitely not the weekend for me. I have to work start at the job tomorrow; I just gave my two weeks notice to my other job only a week ago. :eee: So I have to do friday and saturday graveyard shifts, and on monday I have to go to my old job and work a day shift and apologize for misunderstanding/ miscommunication the situation. We were going to be super busy next week.  :plz: I might end up offering to work a few hours after I get off my new job.

My friend was like that for a good month. Working day shift at one place then night shift the next. In a way I'm like wow lucky being able to work that much. But can only do so much without rest.
