Had my eyes checked today, they've gotten worse than before (I'm now nearsighted with a -5 deviation).

I'm getting pretty close to having 2 coke bottles glued to my eyes...

I can't do contacts 
I got them in just fine but I couldn't get them out! Even the lady helping me had trouble and this is her job!

I had extreme trouble getting them in the first time. But getting them out was super easy for me at least.

my optician offers free lens thinning, see if you can get that
