Post ethics.

Where's Gamergate supposed to go from here?
How the fuck is it STILL going?
-
No idea. Most people seem keen on going until "SJW media" burns out, with no idea on how that'll happen.
-
Hopefully they can cost Gawker even more money.
That seven figure loss was hilarious.

Gaming media has been corrupt for over a decade. Gamergate is movement that's calling it out on its bull.
Of course, this means the media is demonizing GG to protect itself. This only pissed GG off and it's been living off of hatred ever since.
A bunch of kids and tards have since declared themselves part of GG to feel important and then write hateful messages which is taking away any credibility the movement should have had sadly.
And the media pushed back harder than before by making gamers out to be some sort of terrorist in training group. And of course "the evil privileged straight cisgendered white man" is the source of it all and everyone is a misogynist rapist and slave owner.
So yeah.
:gloom:
-
Frankly, it blackened the eyes of the gaming press, which is better than nothing in my book.
-
I don't see why the media pushed back so aggressively
It could have all died down in a week if they just apologised and promised reform.
Well in the end nothing really happened.
Not totally true.
A number of sites have implemented new and improved ethics policies.

What the fuck is happening to the /gamergate/ board?
-
Before gamergate I didn't know people took game journalism seriously. :relax:

Seriously, before this I always just saw Kotaku as "that harmless gaming site that keeps shitposting with click bait-y articles."

What the fuck is happening to the /gamergate/ board?
Allegedly, the owner got butthurt that he wasn't the leader of gamergate, so he turned ownership of the board over to ayyteam.
/gg/ is back to being the one.

Before gamergate I didn't know games journalism sites being corrupt wasn't an open secret.

Apparently someone called a bomb threat against a gamergate meetup.
It's the shit storm that just doesn't stop!
