This thread is for all rts games in existance.

I'm an rts-buff, if it exists and has a skirmish mode, I probably played it or at least heard of it.  :sparkle:

Civilization is a turn based game, not a real time one. schizo is talking about the Starcrafts and Command & Conquers.

I'm not good at nor do I really like RTS games... :sorry:

I really like the Dawn of War games and AoE2.
Sins of a solar empire is also really fun but I'm terrible at it  :owh:

I just realized I can't remember the last time I was excited for an RTS.

Are they even being made anymore? (Minus Starcraft 2 expansions)

Sadly no, even SC2 is pretty underwhelming. Even DOW said forget rts lets make a squad/hero game thing.

You'll have to wait until someone recreates WC3 in the dota engine and calls it WC4

I guess there's some if you like weird free to play Starcraft clones or something  :gloom:

If Dungeon Keeper counts as an RTS then it's certainly the best RTS of all time all years every year.

My speed is as slow as I am to cum into your mother, both of us take our time.  :owh:
I just spent an entire hour downloading aoe2, which weights 600 mibs. An actual game like dow would take an entire day.

Otherwise, I'd play with you too.

I play ranked StarCraft II. Bought the game when it came out, but stopped playing for a while. I just got back into it last season or so. I'm still bronze so far.  :tears:

It's a very fun game, but like, it's one of those types of games that ins't very fun if you're not good.

Then the only way to go is up! Improving is simply a matter of a bit of practice. With basic mechanics down even at low levels RTS is a really fun genre!  :ok:

we should totally arrange a time to play some AoE or something
