When I was on the train I ended up talking to lots of different people around the train. My uncle said when he went coast to coast in the US that he would never go back to the states he said all the land is so ugly and everything is the same.

there is a lot of land. Saying you'd never visit again is incredibly short-sighted and dumb, though. As much as I hate Iowa and North Dakota, there is SO MUCH variation and cities that he probably statistically saw like 2% of it despite being a coast to coast trip.

Foreigners visiting the US and coming back with shitty attitudes are the worst.

I love train trips

This one was kinda shitty on account of it being super hot right now, thankfully I brought some water

But on my way back I got unlucky and only got a seat in the bike/baby stroller/etc area. The seats are along the wall right so you have the window against your neck.

Well, I didn't notice anything until I got back home but my neck has become sizzled bacon. It burns so fucking much
