I was never too fond of the whole concept. But after /x/ got raided like 4 years ago or so I lost the ability to appreciate them at all. I also stopped going to /x/ then.

When cleaning my room I found a lot of round bases for figurine and some other warmachine accessories (warmachine is a tabeltop wargame a little bit like warhammer). I bought these 2 and a half year ago when I was trying to make a tulpa because I thought we could play this game together, using the bases as proxies.

I had totally forgotten about them.

The only wargame club in the region is a warhammer 40k only club. :poh:

Same. No wargaming, no tabletop. At least we got MTG, and I did see a flyer for a WoD LARP one time, somewhat amusingly titled (my city) by night.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Season 1 and 2 are just well done SoL shows. I think that's why it exploded. For many people it was their first exposure to moe as a concept. Also /mlp/ is fucking beautiful when there's drama

I couldn't get into 40k because everything takes forever and there's so many fucking rules.
Not necessarily a bad game, but not my cup of tea. Chess is the best wargame.
