I played it for a while and I enjoyed the leveling experience.

Can't really talk about the end game content because I didn't reach it but as I understood it there's not as much as in other games with a paid subscription.

But there's probably enough for us I guess.

I haven't played an mmo in a really long time. Are they still like wow?

I think so. 

They increasingly add elements of minecraft or "action combat" from what I've seen tho. Which is an improvement.

The big MMOs afaik today are WoW (of course), Elder Scrolls Online, Final Fantasy XIV, and Black Desert Online.

ESO and BDO I've been wanting to try but I haven't had the time for an MMO until now (well in a week)

Maple Story 2 could be pretty big if it ever comes out in the west. Dunno about if its good or not, but it's cute.

bdo is great if you can ignore the pavlovian daily login rewards

i couldnt not log in for a single day for a couple months because of it

if they didnt have that i might still play it because i know it wouldnt consume me

 I feel lthat if a game can be fun without Pavlovian rewards, it was probably designed without that sort of math in mind. Modern online games are meant to make you feel that cycle; even if you recognize it, the game is still built with that in mind


But if that is fun for you, then ganbare!
