VR is so disappointing I don't know many people who are excited for it. What do people want to do with VR and video games?

it makes more sense for those with the controls and hardware that reflect your agency in the world

sense of depth, binurial audio based on headtracking, if you're playing something like a racing sim or a flight sim with force feedback controls and you have a motion rig with it, that's when it'll be the ideal experience

obviously most people can't afford that but people really enjoy the sense of scale and stuff with it in elite, especially looking at things like the 28km deep crater from the inside

force feedback wheels already do that
 
depending on the speed and the kind of road you're on, as well as the grip your tyres have on the road will change the feel and resistance of the wheel

you have to fight against the torque like in real racing cars, and there's enthusiast gear that's crazy that  can output 20+ kg of force to a wheel in 2 directions, imagine trying to steer against that

it was a power surge from the fucking uni sockets 

the adapter itself looks really high quality, it has its own font and everything printed in beige text at the back with a cable clip and valcro cable tie, and the cable coming out of the charging side uses a smooth bendy thing instead of the usual grippy looking stuff probably to stop it from snapping
