Pretend to be apologetic for a few days, then never bring it up again and do your best to hide such things from her much more efficiently in the future. That's really the best option.

That's how I learned to hide my porn so well, was having it discovered 2-3 times during my teen years. Each time, my level of security skyrocketed.

Of course, it stops mattering when you live alone, but...

i would just not say anything about it unless she brings it up then yeah act apologetic but how i solve most problems with my family is just ignore the subject lol

honestly its kinda hard to say.  I dont know how hard you are, what your relationship with your mom is like, or to be entirely honest, what the hell action magazine even is.  Personally I wouldn't make it an issue unless she does.  If its not porn and just some sort of girlie magazine just ask her what the problem is or ask what shes making such a big deal about.  If its porn and you're of legal age to buy it in your country you can always say you're an adult and have needs or something.  Its really hard to give decent advice having really no background info to work with.  Honestly just dont make a big deal about it and it should be fine, also ask how the hell she found it and possibly you can make her feel bad if she was searching your room or some shit.  but yea as worthy said it would be easier if you lived alone.

Beggars can't be choosers. I don't see the big deal, it's a magazine. Say it's a friend's and he or she left it there.
